This was another high temperature day in which we were called out in reference to a male hiker who ran out of water and turned into a medical aid. We had to briefly search for the subject, but once we did, we hosted a rescue specialist down to him, and he was hoisted out and flown to an ambulance. He was transported to the hospital. Please remember to always have a hiking plan and take more water than you think you need. Always tell two people where you’re going to hike and how long you think you’re going to hike. Place your cell phone and airplane mode while you’re hiking  to save your battery.
