Immediately after dispatch, Engine 10 reported a header from their station. Minutes later Engine 10 went on location reporting fire from all sides of a 1-1/2 story single family dwelling (SFD) and leading off with a 2-1/2" hand line.

The fire spread to the south exposure which was an identical to the original fire building. Battalion 43 arrived and struck the 2nd alarm bringing in Engines 6, 14, Truck 2 and Air 1.

It took firefighters over 1.5 hours to bring the fire under control. The winds were very strong and the temps in the teens and lower with the wind chill. The streets department was notified for salt as the water was freezing on the streets.
