To me Corsair has always made solid mice but never excellent mice. Recently there has been a dramatic shift in their specs which make them very alluring. But still think they are falling behind in other important aspects such as weight, shape, QA, and materials, that keep them from the top spots but are moving in the right direction. While this mouse does more things right than wrong there isn’t anything spectacular to set it apart from the competition (besides specs) leading to another solid mouse that is their closest yet to excellent. I’d rate it solid/excellent overall or a 4.0/5. Of all the M65 variants this is by far the best. So, if you’ve enjoyed the shape, size, and weight in the past, you’re in for an absolute treat. As the only reason I don’t give it top marks (5 stars) is because my first one had defective clicks, the weight is excessive for an FPS mouse, and the primary clicks just aren’t as premium as other greats I’ve tried. So, I subtracted a star. But keep in mind mice are very personal and what works and doesn’t work varies from person to person.
