Jembatan Aek Tano Ponggol yang dibangun sejak Tahun 2020 lalu hingga Desember 2022 oleh PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) Persero senilai Rp 154 miliar lebih dari dana APBN itu belum rampung 100 persen dan sebelumnya ditargetkan rampung pada Desember 2022.

Pembangunan jembatan baru tersebut adalah mengganti jembatan lama yang menghubungkan daratan Pulau Samosir dengan daratan Sumatera Utara atau jalan satu satunya via darat keluar masuk ke Pulau Samosir. Selain itu, juga memperlancar arus lalulintas kapal keliling Pulau Samosir.

Walau jembatan Aek Tano Ponggol tersebut belum rampung seratus persen dan belum bisa dilalui atau dilintasi kendaraan umum namun jembatan itu tampak menarik perhatian publik, karena jembatan tersebut dihiasi 3 tiang cantik berwarna merah berdiri tegak dan tiga tiang cantik itu menyatu di atas jembatan yang disebut melambangkan Dalihan Natolu.

Dengan adanya tiga tiang cantik berwarna merah itu membuat para pengunjung dan warga Pangururan tertarik ingin melihatnya dari dekat dan hingga ke lokasi jembatan dan akhirnya menjadi tempat berselfie atau ber-swafoto.

The Aek Tano Ponggol Bridge, which was built from 2020 to December 2022 by PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) Persero worth IDR 154 billion more than APBN funds, has not been completed 100 percent and was previously targeted for completion in December 2022.

The construction of the new bridge is to replace the old bridge that connects the mainland of Samosir Island with the mainland of North Sumatra or the only road via land in and out of Samosir Island. In addition, it also facilitates the flow of ship traffic around Samosir Island.

Even though the Aek Tano Ponggol bridge has not been completed one hundred percent and cannot be passed or crossed by public vehicles, the bridge seems to attract public attention, because the bridge is decorated with 3 beautiful red pillars standing upright and the three beautiful pillars unite on the bridge which is said to symbolize Dalihan Natolu.

With the three beautiful red pillars, visitors and residents of Pangururan are interested in seeing it up close and up to the bridge location and eventually it becomes a place to take selfies.
