The Present day Deogarh town in western part of Odisha previously known as a Bamanda and it was a princely state at that time. The King of the State was benevolent and had a high regard to Odia Literature. He built many structures to patronage artists and Litterateure.
Some of those infrastructures now treated as heritage buildings and structures but many are ruined without proper preservations. In many palaces modern markets has been set up by demolishing the historical structure.
Statue House, Printing press, Basant Nibas, Lalit Basant are some of them can be recalled. See the entire episode to witness the history.
