Home Minister Amit Shah told parliament today that the Centre regrets the death of 14 civilians in a counter-insurgency operation of the army in Nagaland on Saturday that went horribly wrong. This on a day when the 14 men were buried in Mon in Nagaland. As the investigation gets underway, both at the level of the Army and the police, the big question is, will these men be saved from prosecution by the Armed Forces Special Powers Act.
