Our story begins in 1950, the year Kenneth Bane and Patricia Dazey married. Both came from Wingate, a small town in Montgomery County, Indiana. Entrepreneurs at heart, each supported the other in all their business endeavors.

In 1967, Kenneth Bane answered an advertisement in the local newspaper. J. I. Case Company was looking for someone to establish a J. I. Case Dealership in Montgomery County, an area rich in farmland. At first, Patricia thought Kenneth had lost his mind to consider such an undertaking! However, once the decision was made, she became the greatest cheerleader of all. They named their dealership Bane Equipment Sales.

The business has evolved through the years. Now known as Bane-Welker Equipment, the dealership has grown to include 15 locations throughout Indiana and Ohio. Today, Bane Welker Equipment provides innovative equipment, services, and technological solutions to their customers, resulting in long-term business partnerships.
