Zambian records uploaded Tuesdays and Fridays. This single comes from the band, The Lukanga Melodies. This one is on the Zambezi label and is an early single on the label, dating from around 1976. The Lukanga Melodies recorded a single self titled album, released in 1976, and had a handful of singles. The Lukanga Melodies had 5 members, Rene Monga on Lead Guitar, Thomson Sala on Rhythm Guitar, Christopher Kunda on Bass, Jackson Chomba on Bongos and Daniel Chishala on Drums. Their album was recorded at DB studios in Lusaka so it's likely their singles were too. Both the album and this single would have been release around the same time.

Other than that, I could find very little about the band. If you have any information about them, please share in the comments. The record is pretty beat up, but it's the best copy that I could get my hands on. Hopefully a cleaner copy will turn up eventually.
