Ever find a picture and wanted to use it as a template or pattern for your woodworking project? This video will show you one process to make it into the template that you need to make something really awesome. There are several ways to make a woodworking template. This video goes over one of the ways to do it. You may come across another way to create templates. If so, leave a comment and share your techniques.

I like to use Inkscape to make templates. Inkscape is a free vector software. You can download here: https://inkscape.org. This video is NOT SPONSORED. I like Inscape and wish someone would have shown me some of these tips when I first downloaded it. Since I made this video, there was an update to Inkscape so some of the buttons look a little different. The overall process is the same though. For this video, I show how to take an illustration from online and turn it into a template. I found the picture on Pixabay, which has royalty free graphics. I picked out a truck carrying pumpkins…because this video is coming out in the fall. Here is the link to the graphic.
