EPIC: High-Impact Truths in the New Testament – Part 8

1. Read verses 4-5. React to this statement: You can have confidence toward God, and your adequacy is from Him.

2. Read verse 6. What are we qualified to minister? What are we not qualified to minister?

3. Read verses 7-8. How are the Ten Commandments described? What ministry is more glorious? (Be specific for both.)

4. Read verses 9-11. Again, how are the Ten Commandments described? And what ministry is more glorious? (Be specific for both.)

5. Read verses 12-13. What is Paul’s conclusion about ministry here after comparing the two covenants?

6. Read verses 14-16. What does the “veil” represent here? When is it lifted? What do people then see?

7. Read verse 17. What is the atmosphere the Holy Spirit cultivates? What do you think this looks like in your life?

8. Read verse 18. Why does Paul mention a “mirror”? What do you normally see when you look in the mirror? And what does Paul see happening in your life?
