Alchemist have for centuries sort to discover the elixir of life, the key to immortality. How close are we to realizing that goal? John MacInnes and Remington Scott are 21st century digital alchemist who may have unlocked the secret. Our physical bodies may not live forever but something our ourselves might in the form of a digital avatars. Humans have always represented themselves through images, it’s one of the things that makes us unique as a species, but the permanence of the images have always been set by the technology that created them. MacInnes and Scott maintain that with the advent of digital technology we now have the possibly to preserve ourselves forever.

John and Remington first worked together on the video game Call Of Duty, Advanced Warfare starring Kevin Spacey. John wrote the script and and Remington was the director. Under the banner MacInnes Scott they are now breaking new ground creating art and entertainment at the cutting edge of virtual and augmented reality.


As a screenwriter for movies and video games, John MacInnes was awarded the 2011 Academy Nicholl Fellowship for his script OUTSIDE THE WIRE, a gritty and intense action thriller. The script was picked up by Cinestar Pictures as a vehicle for Zoe Saldana (Guardians Of The Galaxy, Avatar, Star Trek) to star in and produce.
Remington Scott has been a pioneer in computer graphic imagery and emerging media for more than 25 years. So it’s no surprise to now find him at the cutting edge of Augmented / Virtual Reality.
He most recently won acclaim for his work as performance capture director on CALL OF DUTY, ADVANCED WARFARE
