Spectaclular hike that's the word to describe this walk

A trail near the cliffs of the Causse Noir will lead you towards the mysterious and vertiginous Saint Michel hermitage built 1000 years ago on top of steep rocks formations.

The place is very remote. There are ruins of what was a chapel and a fortress

You will also see the gorgeous priory church of Saint-Jean-des-Balmes, a very strange rock mushroom.

This is a 5 hours but there is no time to get bored or tired

The start is in the little town of Peyreleau in the entrance of Les Gorges du Tarn and les Gorges de la Jonte
