A NOTE FROM THE CAMERAMAN (three deep, center stage, iPhone 12): Pearl Jam has been my favorite band since I was 14. "Release" is my absolute favorite song. On Feb. 6, 1995 I saw my second ever Pearl Jam show at the Moore Theater in Seattle (same place the Even Flow video is filmed). The band opened the show with "Release" in almost total darkness, but as the song came near a conclusion the band members became visible as silhouettes. At that moment "Release" became my favorite song and nothing has change in the intervening 29 years. On this night in Seattle, almost three decades later, I witnessed a near-perfect rendition of that moment from 1995, which is my favorite Pearl Jam experience of all time. I'm glad I caught it and can share with you. Thank you Pearl Jam for staying with us for 34 years. I won't forget this night in Seattle. Ever.
