#IPL is called the #Mahakumbh of cricket. Apart from India, cricket players from many other countries are included in IPL. Every year in the months of April and May we get to see a different form of cricket. Players from all countries participate in it. This type of cricket matches are called IPL. It is very entertaining and exciting to watch because it has very few overs, only 20 overs, and the audience also gets thrilled after seeing very big players playing together in the same team. Watching IPL is a different kind of fun. Whoever sees it once will become its complete fan. The full form of IPL is #IndianPremierLeague. This is a professional Twenty 20 cricket league which is contested in India, where eight teams participate in it which represent eight different states of India. This IPL league was started by the Board of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2008, while it is also called the brainchild of Lalit Modi. Lalit Modi was the founder and former commissioner of this league, the first tournament of IPL was held in 2008. Some spot fixing issues also came to light, two cricket teams Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals were suspended for two years in 2015 and in return two new franchises were established – Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions. Both these teams also started playing again in IPL 2018 after a long suspension. Now all the teams are playing the same as before.
