(Note: keep washing to end to see more impressive results)

Born out of curiosity, this hack will get your gelcoat, fiberglass, plastics, rubbers, portlights, almost back to original condition and colour and remove long time scuffs and blemishes off and leave a smooth damage and scratch free polished surface. Once you're done, you can wipe it down with a micro fiber towel with or without water. To protect the newly polished surfaces you can wax it or, like I do, simply use a spray on waterless wash and wax product. I also regularly wash down the entire boat with an automotive wash and wax soap.

Products in the video are:
Ceramic or glass cook top polisher
3M red Scoth Brite pad
Dry Shine brand Wash & Wax spray
Clean microfiber towels
Automotive grade wash and wax soap

Important note: do not use stove top polishing cream on flexible plastic windows like on dodgers. I tried it and it left a terrible haze. I had to repolish it with a three part product (Novus) to get the clarity back.
