Every Teardrop is a Waterfall

Hey guys, here's a new cover I just made last night and recorded today. I picked up Coldplay's new album, Mylo Xyloto, a couple days ago and have been loving what I've heard. This song and "Hurts Like Heaven" are definitely two of my favorites off the CD.

My goal in making this arrangement was just to take part of the song (the verse) and vary it in a few different ways. I didn't use much of the chorus, as I personally find the verses to be much more catchy and musically interesting, but I did throw in a little chorus for good measure. This was a tough one to get right, and it's still not perfect, but I really wanted to just go a little crazy on this arrangement (for those of you classical fans, you may notice a little homage to Liszt with the melody split in octaves between the hands!).

I really had a blast recording this one, and I hope you all enjoy the work!
