1) Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu
Address: 115/5 Dinso Rd, Wat Bowon Niwet, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand
Pad Thai is one of the Thai food that you obviously need to try and in Bangkok there is one place called Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu that have won Michelin Bib Gourmand title for couple of years. Portion is rather small if you compare with Australia but you definitely need to try the pork!

2) Go-Ang Kaomunkai Pratunam Chicken Rice
Address: 962 Phetchaburi Rd, Makkasan, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, Thailand
One of Bangkok's most popular chicken rice (Khao Mun Gai) which also part of Bangkok's Michelin Bib Gourmand list. They are quite cheap and no frills, great for breakfast. Thai chicken rice is quite different with Singaporean or Malaysian chicken rice in terms of the sauce that used tamarind.

3) Guay Jub Mr Jo ก๋วยจั๊บมิสเตอร์โจ
Address: 86 Soi Chan 44, Wat Phraya Krai, Bangkok, 10120, Thailand
This busy place is known for the peppery kway chap (rice noodle soup) and the crispiest pork belly. We reckon one of the best pork belly in Bangkok so you definitely need to order as an extra dish.

4) Kor Panich Mango Sticky Rice
Address: 431 433 Thanon Tanao, San Chao Pho Sua, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand
A trip to Bangkok is not complete without having mango sticky rice, also known as khao niao ma muang. Kor Panit is a small shop by the road that sells one of the best mango sticky rice in Bangkok. Iconic street food / Thai dessert that you must try.

5) Raan Jay Fai
Address: 327 Maha Chai Rd, Samran Rat, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand
Legendary Thai food spot in Bangkok that earned One Star Michelin Star. This place is the Bangkok street food icon with unique goggle chef. Signature dish is crispy crab omelettes. This is a very popular spot and they don’t take bookings, so be sure to arrive early and be prepared to queue like us. Tips on how to get early to Jay Fai: come early before opening 9am which is around 7.30am and don't come during weekend. Cash only and dishes are not cheap compared to other Thai restaurants in Bangkok. Be prepare to wait for at least 3 hours.

How to get around Bangkok? You can take public transportation like BTS Skytrain and MRT. We used Grab a lot in Bangkok as they are really cheap affordable and convenient to travel from one location to another with private car. We prefer to use Grab than taxi because taxi in Bangkok or Thailand in general can be tricky as they sometimes do not want to turn on the meter! Of course you need to try Tuk Tuk in Thailand too!
