This year, the solstice takes on new meaning as we move from the general struggles around us and try to look toward spring and better times ahead. I use this day to mess around with the various seeds I've collected from last year's garden and get reminded of the promise that seeds hold. It has become a grounding ritual for me each solstice, and it makes me happier. Try it yourself.
