World Youth Skills Day, celebrated on July 15th each year, is a global initiative that highlights the importance of equipping young people with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in an ever-changing world. This day aligns closely with two of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education and Reduced Inequalities. These goals are intertwined: education plays a crucial role in reducing inequalities, as it opens doors to opportunities and social mobility. When young people from marginalized backgrounds receive equal access to education and skills training, we break down barriers and create a more inclusive society where every individual's talents are valued and utilized. To highlight World Youth Skills Day, two NL Alumni (Angginta Ramdani and Astidira Apti, both alumni from TU Delft) are sharing their ways to give back to the community through their organizations Inklu Indonesia and Senang Ruang during this episode of Alumni Talk.
