Full unboxing and assembly of the Nextwave Automation Shark HD5 EXT CNC. An entry level machine with a great price tag and cutting capacity. I ran into a few issues, but easily worked through. This is a nice machine and worth the time and money if you are looking for a good starter CNC.

The Shark offers a 25x50 cutting capacity, heavy duty aluminim and steel gantry, HDPE gantry supports and base, and full aluminum top with tons of T-slots. Virtual Zero software to maximize cuts on uneven surfaces.

*******************************************************************************************************I reached out to Next Wave regarding some of the issues that came up during assembly. They sent me two more bolts and rectangular nuts to help support the track, which made a huge difference. They also told me that future machines will replace the magnet with a tapped hole and bolt to mount the wire track.

We also discussed the dust boot and they are working on other solutions. These folks are proactive and actually listen to customers. I love that!

I placed it on top of the Kreg Universal Workbench and will soon add some storage, drawers, and doors.
