Today I´m going to synthesize Copper hydroxide, Copper carbonate and Copper oxide by using Copper sulfate, sodium hydroxide and a baking soda.

CuSO4(aq) + 2NaOH(aq) --) Cu(OH)2(s) + Na2SO4(aq)
CuSO4(aq) + 2NaHCO3 --) CuCO3 + Na2SO4 + H2O + CO2

You can make Copper oxide by heating up Copper carbonate past 290°C, it will decompose.

CuCO3 --) CuO + CO2
