Ride in the driver's cab of a first-generation InterCity control car.
IC 2374 brings us to Frankfurt Central Station, probably the liveliest railway station in Germany. We leave the station and wind our way through the huge switch apron, when suddenly an emergency call sounds in the driver's cab? What could have happened?
We take a diversion and pass through the Hanau railway junction, parts of which are still controlled by electromechanically operated signals.
For signalling enthusiasts, there are all kinds of signal variants to be seen.
