Honda announced an investment of R$4.5 billion in Brazil until 2030 and this amount includes at least one new model: the new generation of the Honda WR -V , which will be the first with a flex hybrid mechanical package – with technology and: HEV, like the Civic . Presented as the Honda Elevate in mid-2023, the utility already uses the name Honda WR-V in Japan. In Brazil, it will fulfill the role of an SUV in the City line , including sharing the platform and other components with the hatch and sedan. The launch is confirmed for the second half of 2025.

WR-V with hybrid flex mechanics
The City's mechanical set, with a 1.5 naturally aspirated engine with 126 hp and 15.8 kgfm and CVT transmission, will be available in the cheaper versions. The hybrid e:HEV flex mechanics, in turn, will be available in the more expensive versions and will be based on a set that already exists in Asia.
