This is round 1 of the 2000 Chevy Trucks AMA Motocross Championship from Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA. This is the ONLY National from the year 2000 that I have.

Returning 250cc contenders like 1999 runner-up Kevin Windham, '94 champ Mike LaRocco, Sebastien Tortelli, Larry Ward, 250cc Motocross rookie Ricky Carmichael, Damon Huffman, 1998 125cc runner-up John Dowd, 250cc rookie David Vuillemin, Tim Ferry, and defending champ Greg Albertyn battle it out for the 2000 Chevy Trucks 250cc AMA Motocross Championship. This is Ricky Carmichael and David Vuillemin's first full 250cc Motocross seasons after Carmichael dropped back down to the 125cc class for the Nationals in 1999, and Vuillemin kept returning to Europe for the Grand Prix series after Supercross concluded. Jeff Emig is sidelined for the 2000 Nationals due to a fractured leg and back injuries sustained before the Vegas Supercross finale, which lead to his eventual retirement. This race marks Greg Albertyn's first race with the #1 plate, and his first race back from a broken femur he sustained at the Atlanta Supercross almost 3 months ago. This race also marks Jeremy McGrath's only Motocross National of the 2000 season, and his last until Steel City 2004.

Returning 125cc contenders like 1999 runner-up Brock Sellards, 125cc East SX champ Stephane Roncada, Nick Wey, Suzuki rookie Travis Pastrana, Michael Brandes, Nathan Ramsey, Kelly Smith, Ernesto Fonseca, 125cc West SX runner-up David Pingree, Casey Johnson, Casey Lytle, Tallon Vohland, 2-time champ Steve Lamson, Greg Schnell, KTM rookie Rodrig Thain, and Yamaha of Troy rookie Justin Buckelew battle it out for the 2000 Chevy Trucks 125cc AMA Motocross Championship. This race marks the pro motocross debuts for Travis Pastrana and Justin Buckelew. This race is well known for Michael Brandes' bad crash on the first lap in moto #2.

Enjoy.
