MI 👑 👑 👑 Day 1: Jordan River Loop 20.5 miles. I arrived at the small dirt parking lot near Pinney Bridge hike in campsite around 9:45 am, grabbed my pack and hiked the short ways into camp. To my surprise, I was the only one there so I had pick of the litter. I chose a nice shaded private site situated along a bluff to set up before hitting the trail clockwise. It was my first time on the JRT and I really enjoyed it. Great variation and scenery, one epic climb with a fantastic vista, and of course the infamous 45th parallel crossing. I got back to camp around 5, went down to the river and got in up to my waist. After stretches, I collected wood for a fire. Dinner was yellow curry with chicken and a Short’s Locals Light.
