Ramesh Shukla has been capturing the history of UAE since 60 years. You may not have seen him but you must have been carrying his work in your wallet the whole time, especially if you are living in the UAE and if you have ever used a 50AED note or have visited Expo Dubai and bought an Expo Passport!

Today, we find out the stories behind the iconic images of the UAE, captured by Indian photographer Shukla who moved here back in the 1960’s, and the dedication it takes to be a master of one’s craft.
