A.k.a "Army of One", a.k.a. "What LR probably would've been like if they didn't mix up the battle system."

Weapon: Omega Edged Carbine ★
Accessories: 3x Magus's Bracelet ★, Champion's Belt ★
Paradigms: Com/Sab/Sen/Sen/Med/Med
Battle Speed: Slow

Chraystarium: Stage 10 - All Roles Maxed
Sazh and Hope: Learned "Provoke", kept at Sentinel Role, and equipped "Paper Tiger" weapons (Pleiades and Malphas) to KO asap.

Gil and CP were hacked in to max Lightning out, making this experimental battle possible (without the need for ridiculous amounts of grinding to achieve this normally). All other party members are at NCU.

Most know by now the Vercingetorix Poison cheese strat. So I wanted to see if it was still viable in a Solo run. Apparently it is as long as you have Elixirs to burn.
- 1 Elixir is enough for a really lucky run. That is, if you always manage to successfully stick Poison within the first string, enabling you to switch back to Sentinel immediately to tank.
- 2 Elixirs is recommended to end the battle comfortably.
- 3 or even 4 Elixirs is best for finishing the battle faster, which is what I did for this video since I care more about speed than conserving resources.

After recording the battle, I loaded the previous save and fought Vercingetorix again with a "normal" team consisting of NCU Snow and Fang so that I get to save all the Elixirs used. Well, at least I tried to. I haven't actually been successful yet...

- Dispel is absolutely necessary for the battle. But since Lightning doesn't learn the ability in her Sab Role, it's a good thing we could make use of the Dispelga technique. Problem is, Dispelga removes ALL buffs and debuffs in the field, meaning buffs to self have been rendered useless. This is why the Synergist Role had to be left at home.

- Lightning can only safely fight the first 2 phases on her own. Once Verc gets 3 pairs of wings, more likely than not, she'll be overwhelmed by damage while trying to stick some Poison strings. Phase 3 is when summoning Odin becomes mandatory. And whenever pocket Sentinel Odin is out, it's pretty safe to throw out some Ruin strings to further shorten the battle time.

- Putrescence isn't something to worry too much about as long as Verc's buff's have been dispelled. What makes it less threatening is that it doesn't stick debuffs but only dispels your buffs. Not a big deal since Dispelga already did that anyway.
