A hard fought three points against a determined Stevenage side that had us pinned back for most of the second half. Goals from Paddy Lane and Colby Bishop had given us a deserved first half lead and despite a handful of chances we couldn't extend it.
The closing stages of the game were most notable for the sending off of Nathan Thompson for what can only be described as a Hong Kong phooey tackle on Saydee and this was swiftly followed by another red for Steve Evans having too much to say for himself (just for a change).
A badly needed three points keeps us ticking over and we have to build a winning run again - like Ipswich did in the second half of last season! Some additions required playing wise as well .... PuP!
