In this sequence from the film 'Highland Laddie’, Isla St Clair presents and sings ‘Lochaber No More’ a beautiful lament that evokes images of Scotland. Traditionally ‘Lochaber No More’ was played by regimental pipers at funerals. So plaintive is the lament that during the Napoleonic war pipers were prevented from playing it as it made the Highlanders overly homesick.
