Hello friends! My name is Sofia. A year ago I moved to live in Paraguay. Today is Sunday, June 30, 2024.
We are located in the Loma San Jerónimo Asunción neighborhood, one of the most historic in the city of Asunción, capital of the Republic of Paraguay.
Paraguay San Juan festival 2024 in the Loma San Jerónimo Asunción neighborhood.
We will listen to the sounds of the city, watch the people and see how they celebrate San Juan in Paraguay. This is the first video on my channel, which I have created to save the experiences I have accumulated living in this beautiful country. Also to share these moments with you and practice the language that I have just started to learn. Also, I hope to make new friends in this new country!

In June, July and August in Paraguay it is winter. You can see people wearing jackets and it is quite cold. Currently, the temperature in Asunción drops at night to about nine degrees Celsius, and during the day it reaches between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. In summer, Asunción becomes very hot. During the day, the temperature can reach up to forty degrees Celsius.

This neighborhood is near the Presidential Palace. Therefore, if you are in Asunción, be sure to visit this place. In the past, the port near this neighborhood prospered, and so did the neighborhood. But those times are behind us. Although the neighborhood has preserved its charm. Currently, a complex of modern buildings has been built nearby, so I am sure that the neighborhood will see active development. In the year that I have been living here, I have noticed how many new things are appearing in the city: cozy squares are being created, streets are being renovated. Look how quiet it is here on the streets. Asunción is a very green city, with many trees and low-rise houses. And throughout the year you can enjoy the flowering of the trees, as well as the singing of the birds.

Thanks for your interest. Watch other videos about Paraguay on my channel.
