Epic session on the second day of my 2024 River Wye trip. The river was very coloured but the Chub were on the feed, so much so I had more Chub than I've ever caught before and a new personal best of just under 5 lbs. The Barbel were present but not interested in feeding - however, the Chub more than made up for no Barbel to the net.

I was joined by my pal Nic ‪@AvonAnglingUK‬ who also had a cracking session. Do check out his video of the day where he has some amazing drone footage of the action.

The new Daiwa Connoisseur Pro Match 15 and Abu Garcia 506 mk2 were certainly put through their paces. I'll certainly be heading back to the river Wye next year for another session.
