Awesome day. Trails were in great condition and heat wasn't nearly as bad as the previous race in Alabama (feels like was 117!). Trails had a few open sections scattered about but for the most part were really tight. Finished 4th in 60A and got my first brown jug, so I'm stoked about that. This video shows test 5 (last one) and turned out to be my fastest of the day. The 4 guys that passed me were 30A riders from the 2 rows behind me, and in all the other tests they caught me quicker, so I knew I had a better pace going. Almost cramped at one point, but focused on relaxing and it went away immediately. Wow, maybe pickle juice really does work! The only thing that disappoints me about this race is that a BUNCH of guys rode the dual sport the day before, and from what they said it was exactly the same course. Not to be a whiner, but that doesn't hardly seem fair to those of us who can't make it on Saturday. In the nationals they don't allow it. Oh well, had a great time, it was well organized, and the course was awesome. So great job Greenville Enduro Riders.
