Over the years, Rocket League players have come up with a lot of crazy new ways to hit the ball, and a lot crazy new names to go with those new mechanics. Things like the Musty Flick, Doomsee Dish, Kuxir Pinch, and the Psycho have given this games it's own vocabulary that can be very confusing to a newer player. In this video I wanted to find out what someone with no Rocket League experience might call or label some of the most common in-game mechanics. With no context, bias, or prior knowledge will pro players from games like Halo or Apex be able to guess the correct name for a dribble, flick, or double tap? What about a demo, air dribble, or even a turtle goal? If a new player had to rename a Musty Flick without knowing it was created by a player named "amustycow", what would they come up with? Make sure you stick around until the end to watch me blow their minds with a full on Rocket League freestyle shot performed by my Freestyle Bot: Stallion.
