Just a little bit of fun. Did a couple of (rough) calculations and worked out that this is how LNER A4 Pacific steam locomotive no. 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley would be like if she was doing 100mph in steam days. Sir Nigel Gresley holds the official post-war speed record for steam traction of 112 mph on the 23rd of May 1959 with an SLS Railtour, and even though her sister 'Mallard' broke the official world speed record of steam of 126mph, Sir Nigel Gresley is in revenue earning service on the main line and can be seen for all generations to admire.
