We'll show you how to draw with colored pencils on black paper. While it's quite similar to drawing on white paper, you may need to adjust your perspective and techniques to create the same effects on black paper. You will find yourself using lighter colors or applying more layers than you normally would. You may also notice that your shadows will appear deeper, providing an interesting contrast.

Drawing on black paper allows you to easily erase any lines or mistakes and brush them away with an eraser brush because any remaining pigment will basically disappear into the black paper. When drawing on a dark surface, you can create a light and medium tones by drawing in a darker color than you would use on light paper.
