Watch a rusty, dirty Stanley Bailey Type 20 Hand Plane (1962-1967) get disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled. Taking apart this Stanley Bailey Hand Plane was easy. Many times there is a frozen screw that can slow down a project. This was my fifth hand plane to restore. it is much easier this time around.

This hand plane came in a milk crate full of miscellaneous hand planes and parts of hand planes. A Stanley 220 Blck Plane that came out of this crate was also the star of one of my restoration videos.

This restoration started on May 1, 2021 and was completed on June 3, 2020. (I love to garden and my tomatoes and etc. needed some major attention over the past 4 weeks.) I hope you see a quality effort in this video. Please give me some feedback.

All video was captured and edited using an iPhone 8 Plus, an iMac with iMovie and Photoshop.
