Sacred names play a fairly prominent role in the Latter-day Saint (LDS, Mormon) temple endowment. Names first feature in the Initiatory ceremony, and these names take on new meaning and purpose in the larger endowment ceremony. So very respectfully, we’re going to focus today on how sacred names in the endowment help us to memorialize our covenants, function as keywords, and help us to become more like Jesus Christ.
