With Amber Heard and Johnny Depp trial happening, a lot of questions about Histrionic Personality Disorder and awareness are being asked of me. I hope this video on HPD gives you some clarity.

Histrionic Personality Disorder is a mental health condition that affects the way a person thinks, perceives, and relates to others. Genes play a role in the development of personality disorders. Abuse or instability during childhood also may increase risk.
A person with histrionic personality disorder seeks attention, talks dramatically with strong opinions, is easily influenced, has rapidly changing emotions, and thinks relationships are closer than they are. Treatments typically include talk therapy.

People may experience:
Behavioral: preoccupation with physical appearance, seeks to be the center of attention, or talks dramatically

Psychological: considers relationships closer than they are, easily influenced by others, or depression

Also common: inappropriately sexual or provocative behavior or rapid shifts in emotion
