The homeowner, a widow named Mildred Bartgis, claims that the house became haunted after her divorce. She believes that a malevolent entity called 'Schnabelperchten' is haunting her because she hasn’t kept the house clean enough. While it’s possible that her depression after the divorce has made her more susceptible to paranormal beliefs, I’m more interested in the possibility of a genuine haunting.
