If you're interesting in learning more about the suspended bait technique I used checkout Justin from ‪@KayakCatfish‬'s channel:    / kayakcatfish

I have always had a soft spot in my heart for catfishing. Soaking baits off the end of a dock waiting for what could potentially be a massive fish to bite. I grew up doing it and my first memory of catching a big fish was a giant channel catfish I caught off a freshwater pier back when I was 6 or 7 years old. But since I live surrounded by saltwater, I don't often get to scratch my catfish itch. A week or two back I got that urge and decided to make the drive up to Santee Cooper and try my hand at doing a little kayak catfishing. I had a super fun morning and was really happy with both the numbers and the size of the fish I was pulling in!

I know catfishing might not be everyone's favorite type of fishing, but I had an absolute blast targeting these slimy fish so I hope you all enjoyed it all the same!
