The Self titled Extended Play from Colorado Metalcore quintet Buried in Lies was a long road to finally finish. Coming off the high of opening for PA Nu-Core legends, Tallah, the band locked away to record the collections of songs that make up the EP.

Touching on Health issues on lead track 'Infect Me', family abuse due to the mourning of a loved one's passing, 'Decimate', to the fear of facing ones mortality and growing older, 'No God cries For Me', the EP is ripe with emotional vulnerability. Set to the back drop of punishingly sharp Hardcore influenced riff's, and blistering solo's, Buried in Lies doubled down on the Core side of their sound, shedding basically all Shoegaze and Alternative sounds that was in their previous material.

Buried in Lies' self titled Extended Play cements their place in the Colorado Heavy Music scene as not only as new blood in the scene, but a commanding force on stage with their mix of Metalcore/Hardcore.
