Many of the uninitiated will grab an orbital sander with the sort of idea that it’s a magic tool. Steve says it’s the most dangerous tool in the shop.

It actually is dangerous to entrust a sanding machine to the uninitiated - the risk of loss is immense. It takes the right mind and right understanding to be able to take a newly completed component and put a flawless paint finish on it.

Paint prep is everything. Sanding is a huge part of it.
