Pond preparation means the pond is to be prepared for releasing fish by using different types of organic manure and fertilizers.
Before that lime is to be used.
Pond preparation is mandatory before release fish fries or fingerlings.
Other wise, fish will not get the natural support, feed or oxygen for respiration.
Whether the pond is prepared then the requirement of supplimentary feed become less.
