Wooden corners around your home will inevitably get chipped, gouged and damaged. This short video will show you how to easily fix wooden corners and other surfaces using the most popular exterior-grade wood filler on the market--Bondo!

Tool List:
Orbital Palm Sander
120-Grit Sandpaper
6-in-1 Painter's Tool
1" Putty Knife
3" Putty Knife
Utility Knife

Material List:
Bondo Wood Filler
or
Bondo All-Purpose Filler
Primer
Scrap Wood Block

How-To:
1) Attach a scrap "form" block to the side of the surface that needs to be repaired. This will help shape the patch.
2) Mix Bondo by combining the two parts of the epoxy in careful portions. Mix the two with a scrap stick or screw on a wooden block, or small cardboard sheet.
3) Trowel the mixed Bondo into the gouged area. You only have about a 5 minute work time, so work quickly!
4) Sand the area with 120-grit sandpaper after the Bondo has hardened.
5) Repeat the process with a smaller amount of Bondo for the second coat.
6) Carefully remove the form block and sand the other face of the corner. Use caulk or Bondo to fill in tiny bubbles on that side, and sand again if necessary.
7) Prime and paint the area

That's it! The whole repair can be done in 20 minutes if you have everything ready. Bondo is the best wood filler for exterior repairs because it is impervious to rot.
