The skinny micromuff is a wind muffler specifically designed for the Canon G7X.

It comes with a piece of velcro that sticks to the top of your camera and then you can easily add and remove the micromuff since the hair part also features velcro.

The hairs fall out pretty easily when touched or pulled, so you want to handle the micromuff with care.

While it doesn't work miracles in medium to high winds, it's very good at allowing you to get a good audio recording which would otherwise be ruined by even a small breeze.

Some people have made DIY wind mufflers which look very similar to the skinny micromuff.
