We hiked the "Ludington lighthouse trail" that starts from the main park entrance, goes across the Michigan lake shore, arriving at the majestic Big Sable Point Lighthouse. This was built in 1867 and is one of the tallest lighthouse in Michigan, the tower height reach 112 feet (34 m).

The Ludington Park is known as the most popular state park in Michigan and we suggest a visit there to anyone who is looking for hiking, biking, camping or just spending a nice day on the lake and sand dunes.
