Céline Dion welcomes you to the games as she sings the Édith Piaf classic song, Hymne à l'amour (1950) from the Eiffel Tower. Her spectacular performance is unmatched in Olympic history and might be as great as any other public performance by anyone. This is her first offical performance since cancelling her World Tour due to COVID five years ago and then being diagnosed and sidelined with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS). The world welcomes her back!!
