I had a feeling of a particular area of high desert, that it might hold evidence of a long lost past. So I picked a couple spots that looked good, a high point overlooking what was obviously a ravine cut by water and an area along a small canyon.
And I actually came across more than I expected, ample evidence that there just more than a small hunting camp. There was enough lithic material and pot sherds to lead me to believe that I was more than likely on two separate ancient pueblos. Fascinating!
