I'm always sunset hunting but am never disappointed when I get to the beach. Every day is different and the sea always captivates me. There's always some sort of sunset but not on this day. There was an ever so faint pink line on the horizon under the thick foggy clouds but it was so thin that my camera didn't capture it. Instead I watched the waves which were bigger than usual and the pod of surfers settled in waiting for their next ride. Lots of sea birds out today, more than usual looking for a bite to eat. Wave after wave crashing followed by a little break with calm ocean water. As the waves rolled in and out I kept spotting a beautiful hint of turquoise sea green blue, ever so often in the dark gray Pacific water on this grey day. Calm and relaxing my ocean meditation mesmerized for 8 minutes. I can't wait to cast this to my tv and let it play to enjoy over and over when I'm trapped within the walls of my house on land. Some call it Leucadia, some say Encinitas, Ponto, Carlsbad whatever it's at the beach on demand, so to speak. Every day is a good beach day.
