Take a journey with my partner Brody and I as we head out to Fernbridge, California. Fernbridge is located approximately 14 miles south of Eureka and is home to the Humboldt Creamery and the worlds longest, concrete-poured bridge in the world at 1,320 feet long. Prior to the bridge's completion in 1911, people were ferried across the Eel River. Fernbridge, originally named Singley's Junction, was also a RR depot stop of the Northwest Pacific Railroad system that started in Tiburon and Sausalito (north of San Francisco) and ran all the way north through Eureka to Trinidad. The railroad system was built during the redwood logging days over 100 years ago. Remnants of the railroad tracks and many railroad trestle's can be found all along Highway 101 and Highway 36... Just another great example of the beauty and history on the North Coast of Humboldt, California.

As always... Celebrate Others, Respect Yourself... Love is Powerful... Thank you so much for watching - Dock
